The Washington Foundation For Criminal Justice is preparing for their annual meeting which will take place December 16, 2016. This year’s seminar is called “Blood, Breath, And Tears; Defending The Modern DUI Case.”
Founded in 1984, the WFCJ originally consisted of a few selected top DUI attorneys in the state of Washington which included Doug Cowan, Steve Hayne, Chris Matson, Al Rinaldi, Joe Schlosser, Fred Mendoza, Peter Berzins and Mike Frost. Currently, this non-profit group consists of some of the state’s premier attorneys who are privately chosen and an invitation for membership in the WFCJ is based on the performance in the courtroom of the attorney being considered. Therefore, only attorneys with the astute ability to teach other attorneys and people of the highest ethical standards are considered for membership.
Considering the history and reputation of WFCJ, this is the single most important seminar of the year regarding the topic of DUI; and top attorneys from all across the state will attend. The key speakers will address all aspects of Washington’s DUI laws and the defense of clients in this area. Our very own Attorney Kevin Trombold will writing a case law and legislative update. Therefore, this annual event is not to be missed. For a look at the full agenda, click here for a list key speakers and the topics they are to cover.
